I worked with Fiona extensively to purchase my home on Salt Spring Island. I have been blessed to work with terrific real estate agents in the past, so I know what makes for a good agent. I can say unequivocally that Fiona is one of the very best. I initially met her when I wanted to view a listing but really did not know if moving to SSI was in the cards for me. Fiona was thoughtful and asked great questions to help me uncover where I was in the process and what was important to me. She came out to meet me even though she wasn't feeling great, which I really appreciated in light of my time constraints. When we visited the listing the next day, she spent nearly two hours with me, walking the property and then talking through my situation. I felt like I was in excellent hands, even though we'd just met the day before. About two months later, my dream house came up on the market. Fiona literally emailed, texted and called within 5 minutes of the listing coming online. When she got me on the phone, she said, "I've found your house." What followed was a sprint to put all the pieces together so that I could buy it. She recommended a mortgage broker, an inspector, and other necessary professionals.
